DEPRESSION & ANXIETY

Depression & Anxiety

Many studies have found promising results in treating depression and anxiety with acupuncture. By fixing the blocked area of the body with fine needles, acupuncture regulates the congested energy or imbalances in the body, and further influence the mind.

The researches also show that acupuncture can reduce the severity of depression. It suggests that acupuncture has more than just a placebo effect.

An article on Medical Acupuncture revealed that 6 studies have shown high-level of evidence to support the use of acupuncture in treating depression and anxiety. Circulation promoted by acupuncture can stimulate the immune system and trigger the release of endorphins.
